Common forms include amenorrhea (absence of menstruation), oligomenorrhea (infrequent menstruation), menorrhagia (heavy or prolonged bleeding), and severe dysmenorrhea.

Epidemiology
Menstrual irregularities are among the most common gynecological health concerns in women of reproductive age, particularly among adolescents and young women.
